System Architecture Design and Integration
TriParadigm believes that system architecture design begins with
an enterprise wide mentality of business continuity. From this point of
view precipitates all technical design aspects associated with a
system.
One of the first design considerations, are the various service level
agreements that will be supported by an organization. Each supported service
level agreement will determine the technical architecture required to
provide that level of service.
A typical organization may support multiple service level agreements
divided into logical support tiers. Each tier defining system
architecture, for example:
- Tier 1: BC/HA/DR/HA
- Business Continuity
- High availability cluster in production data center
- High availability cluster in disaster recovery data center
- Disaster recovery of production HA cluster between data centers
- Tier 2: BC/HA/DR/SA
- Business Continuity
- High availability cluster in production data center
- Standalone system in disaster recovery data center
- Disaster recovery of production HA cluster between data centers
- Tier 3: BC/SA/DR/SA
- Business Continuity
- Standalone system in production data center
- Standalone system in disaster recovery data center
- Disaster recovery of production standalone system between data centers
- Tier 4: BC/HA
- Business Continuity
- High availability cluster in production data center
- Tier 5: BC/SA
- Business Continuity
- Standalone system in production data center
